Agustín Silva Ocampo was born in Osorno, chile, an area better known as "Patagonia". He studied at the “Alliance Française School” until 2012, the year in which his family moved to Easter Island. Here, he studied at a local school, discovering a new world that will deeply mark him, awakening his interest in travel and culture. 
At the beginning of 2014 he joined his parents during the filming of a documentary related to the Rapa Nui culture. His first approach to the world of film. A few months later, back in Osorno and at his old school, he participated in an educational trip to France for the centenary of the First World War. It is for this trip that Agustín received his first photographic camera. 
In 2016, he traveled to New Caledonia as part of an AEFE exchange program. Since young, Agustín practiced many sports, however it was not until this year that he discovered race walking. In 2017, he became national school and federated champion, titles that he kept for 2 years. After, As part of the national athletics team, he represented chile in the South American championship in Bolivia 2017; the national race walking championship in Ecuador 2020; and in the South American race walking championship in Lima, Peru in 2020. 
The arrival of COVID-19 put his athletics training on hold and Agustín began to dedicate that time to a new hobby, photography. An activity that ended, capturing his interest completely. 
In 2021, he finishes high school with an academic excellence diploma, a recognition as an outstanding athlete and receiving the “French Culture Award”. During that summer, he did his first job as a production assistant and photo editing assistant at an audiovisual communication production company. 
In 2023, he leaves Chile following his passion, moving to Canada to enter the “film production” program at Vancouver Film School.
